As is their tradition, the Wholesale Klezmer Band makes Yiddish songs accessible to non-Yiddish-speaking audiences with subtitles, translations, or easy vocabulary lessons. The range of their repertoire includes ballads, satire, children's songs and Jewish liturgy as well as lively dance tunes and soulful music for listening.
The Wholesale Klezmer Band, established in 1982, is based in Western Massachusetts. Their fourth and most recent recording is "Zingen far Sholem, Tantst far Freyd" (Sing for Peace, Dance for Joy).
