Hi, I am the grand daughter of Samuel Jacob Jackan, founder of the daily "Haynt" in 1908 and "Parizer Haynt" in 1926.
I would like to commemorate the 70th anniversary of his death to take place on November the 23rd in 2006 (in Paris France).
A book by Chaim Finkelstein about the Haynt will be edited by then (cf Bob bekers project and site).
I need help with ideas and contirbutions,
Can you help ?

This website has no resources to help you. I have forwarded your request to the jewish-music mailing list and encourage you to try other relevant mailing lists, such as mendele, or to contact Yiddish organizations, perhaps starting with YIVO and the Forverts.
