Jaroslav is a Saxophonist/Composer/Arranger born in Czechoslovakia. In Israel, Jaroslav is a well known musician, having worked with Shalom Chanoch, Chava Alberstein, Margalit Zanani, and more. A former Columbia Records recording artist, Jaroslav has worked with Bette Midler, Paul Simon, Carly Simon, and other US musicians.

A renowned saxophonist, Jaroslav’s performances meld his musical roots of jazz and pop with the beloved music of his homeland, Israel. Highly influenced by Stan Getz, Paul Desmond, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, The Beatles Dvorak and Bach, Jaroslav expands the spectrum of Israeli popular music.
Backed up by a trio of top New York musicians, Kenny Bichel, Emmanuel Mann, Benny Koonievsky, and two exciting vocalists, Zahava and Dorit Zadok. Jaroslav's new ensemble is called SHEESHA, and it is poised to become the hottest Ethnic Israeli band in the United States today. Their repertoire encompasses the spectrum of Israeli popular music as well as songs from other Mediterranean countries such as Turkey and Greece.
Jaroslav has worked with some of the great performers of our time including Bette Midler, Carly Simon, Paul Simon, Tony Bennet, Lena Horn, The Manhattan Transfer, The Pointer Sisters, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Etta James, The Jackson Five, Smokey Robinson, Johny Winter, Buddy Rich, Herbie Mann and Ben E. King. In Israel Jaroslav worked with Shalom Chanoch, Arik Ainstein, Chava Alberstein, Gali Atari, Yehoram Gaon, Margalit Tzanani, Ha kol over Chabibi, The Israeli Philharmonics, Yardena Arazi, Yafa Yarkoni and Yosi Banay.
