About the Artists . . .
Clarinetist David Krakauer is one of the foremost musicians of the vital new wave of Klezmer. The scope and variety of his activities-ranging from classical chamber music to the Klezmatics, Klezmer Madness!, original compositions and collaborations with Berio, Zorn and Cage-illustrate a remarkable life in music.
Please see socalledmusic.com and sherylbailey.com for more information about the other performers.
We hope you will join us in negotiating a space for the study and practice of Yiddish folk arts and expanding the definition of Jewish living.
