Two of Washington's premier choral groups celebrate the convergence of their musical traditions. Discover the fiery and passionate tango sung in Spanish, El dÃュa que me quieras; Ladino, Yo la querÃュa más que mi vida; and Yiddish, Ich Hob Dich Tsu Fil Lieb.
The program also includes Latino and Jewish compositions such as Cielito lindo and Hava Nagila--two world-renowned songs from each tradition--Yom Zeh Leyisra'el, Durme Durme, Moisesville, Duerme negrito, Verano porteño, Cantigas de Santa Marìa, Milonga del moro judéo, and more.
