Sparking conversations about passion and life Shmoozin incorporates influences from jazz, Gypsy and Latin music as well as the more traditional styles which characterised our earlier albums.
We are thrilled that Michael Alpert (N.Y.) a luminary figure in the world of klezmer music will not only launch the album but will perform on the night. Michael is a member of klezmer band Brave Old World and formerly of Kapelye as was the musical director of violinist Yitzchak Perlman's legendary klezmer project In The Fiddler's House amongst numerous other Jewish music projects and is in Australia courtesy of the Limmud Oz Festival of Jewish Education and Culture.
We look forward to sharing this special event with you which is part of the Boite's Winter Music Festival
