Celebrate the release of Si's 16th CD, Courage, and his retirement after 30 years as director of Grassroots Leadership, while enjoying his songs of family, community, work and freedom!
Si Kahn is an acclaimed organizer, author, musician, and the executive director of Grassroots Leadership, the Southern-based social justice organization. This tour marks not only his farewell to Grassroots Leadership after 30 years at its helm (and more than 44 years in the movement for civil and economic justice) but also the release of his 16th album. His songs have been recorded by many artists, including Pete Seeger and Jane Sapp, Hazel Dickens, Planxty, Dry Branch Fire Squad, and Dick Gaughan.
