The Mingei International Museum's exhibition BETWEEN EAST AND WEST: Folk Art Treasures of Romania brings you the intriguing sights and sounds of Romania. Journey with ethnographer, violinist Yale Strom, vocalist Elizabeth Schwartz (as featured in the exhibit’s film, “Romania, Romania”) and acclaimed NY-based accordionist Peter Stan as they perform Rom (Gypsy), klezmer, Romanian and Yiddish folk songs from the region. This trio of musicians tour extensively together throughout America, Asia and Europe – don’t miss this opportunity to see them in San Diego!
