Historical narrative and Yiddish folk music are woven together in a stirring account of the fire that changed America and left its mark on a Jewish immigrant community struggling to build a better life. Boston’s popular Workmen’s Circle Yiddish Chorus, the largest in the world, creates an unforgettable new work about this seminal event.
