Three cultures inhabited Spain in the 12th-15th Centuries, each making an indelible contribution to the region's art and music. They lived in harmony until the expulsion of the Jews and Gitanos (Roma, or Gypsies) in 1492. Join us for a musical exploration of Spanish, Sephardic, Gitano and Moorish cultures that will take you on a sonic journey through the passion of Flamenco, the poetry of Sepharad and the rhythm of the Moorish. This world-class ensemble - all renowned in their own right - return to the JMCLA to present the traditional sounds of Spain's Golden Age.
