COLOUR AND FLAVOUR OF LOVE - ONIONS, PICKLES AND PLUMS A COMBINATION OF POETRY AND BALLADS BY WILLY BRILL AND ROLINHA KROSS ON FRIDAY 16 MARCH 2012
In this program, pearls from the rich Yiddish poetry are rendered in a combination of words and music in both Yiddish and Dutch. Willy Brill and Rolinha Kross are unique in clarifying the Yiddish language to their audience in word, act and song.
As "Two sisters" they lead their audience along "The Cherry Tree", "The Golden Peacock", "A Pigeon with a Pigeon" and "Pots and Pans". A colourful program that contains all flavours for both the music lover and the lover of poetry. The program is accompanied by Harold Berghuis (guitar), Jelle van Tongeren
(violin) and Frank Meester (bass).
