Directed by Montreal accordionist Henri Oppenheim (Kleztory), Magillah features Michelle Heisler (Montreal Yiddish Theatre Singers) as lead singer, violinist Julie Triquet (I Musici de Montreal), Mathieu Deschenaux on bass, and percussionist Eric Breton. This versatile band places and emphasis on Jewish music that is both nostalgic and melodic. It is song, violin, drums, heart and soul, humor, great melodies and groove.
