On April 3rd - just days before spring religious festivals - The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, with the endorsement of the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council, is proud to present the Yuval Ron Ensemble. Formed in 1999, this group consists of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian artists who by their performances endeavor to nurture peace and fellowship between historically opposing people in the middle east.
The result is a stunning feast for the eyes and the ears, as musicians combining sacred musical traditions and songs of the middle east play in concert behind Sufi devotional dancing performed by a whirling dervish. Following their performance, the group will receive questions from the audience and speak about their mission, their passion, and their experiences.
Presented by: the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City (JCC)
