A Musical World Recaptured: Klezmer and Yiddish Music Before the Holocaust

2013 Yom HaShoah Commemoration Event Saturday April 6 7:30 PM

For nearly a decade, Shir Madness has been bringing the joys and oys of Yiddish music to synagogues, community events, senior centers, and family simchahs (happy celebrations) in the Greater Boston area. Its repertoire ranges from the Yiddish folk dances of Eastern Europe to the swing-tinged showtunes of 2nd Avenue Yiddish theatre, to new music inspired by our past.
Tickets for this fundraiser are $18 for adults and $12 for students. Some discount tickets are avaliable for groups and those needing financial assistance. We want everyone to be able to attend this great event so call us for details at 617-523-2324.
