Jim Guttmann's Fascinatin' Rhythm

Please join bassist Jim Guttmann's jazz quartet, Fascinatin' Rhythm, at the Acton Jazz Café for the 7:00 PM show this coming Friday evening, January 17. It is a rare public performance for this quartet, which spends most of its time playing in guitarist Jon Damian's basement. In addition to Jim and Jon, the quartet includes Joel Springer on tenor sax and Jurek Glod on drums. The four 'J's will be playing the three 'B's - blues, be bop and ballads - a couple of original tunes and a few bossa novas thrown in for good measure.
