/aYiddish House Concert with Guest Performers Hans Breuer and Yosl Kurland Nov 18, 2014, 7pm [House Party: email Yosl Kurland for address] Greenfield, MA Please join Yiddish singer Hans Breuer, who is also Austria's last wandering shepherd, and The Wholesale Klezmer Band's Yiddish singer Yosl Kurland for a house concert of Yiddish songs and stories November 18, at 7:00 pm. Breuer , is the subject of Sam Apple's popular book published in 2006, " Schlepping Through The Alps," which tells of his seasonal migration from summer mountains to winter pastures in valleys with 625 sheep to whom he sings Yiddish lullabies.
