This horn-driven sextet from New York draws on a mélange of influences—from Afropop to Ashkenazi cantorial tropes—mining cultural memory that has rocked stages and dance floors from Mali to Poland. Fronted by Jeremiah Lockwood, formerly with Balkan Beatbox.
