The R2G Klezmer Trio (Steven Greenman, violin; Joel Rubin, violin; Pete Rushefsky, tsimbl) and Dan Kahn's 'The Painted Bird' will perform a joint recital/concert at Wayne State University's music department followed by klezmer/Yiddish music workshops. This unique collaboration is sponsored by The Workmen’s Circle Michigan in partnership with the Wayne State University School of Music and the Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies.
