Smadar Levi is one of the most exciting new voices to emerge from the burgeoning Mediterranean NYC world music scene. Smadar is an Israeli-Moroccan singer whose carft is best described as rhythmic Mediterranean music peppered with a gypsy sound. The Epoch Times recently dubbed her a "haunting and euphonious voice for peace and unity." Smadar will perform original and modern renditions of traditional tunes in Hebrew, Arabic, Ladino, and Spanish. This concert will be part of the the New York Jewish music & Heritage Festival.
